Methods

CSF cytology (lymphoid subpopulations by flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry) and proteins (IEF, ELISA, Western blotting, nephelometry), BBB assessment, stereological techniques to estimate volumes and total number of cells of brain regions, and mean nuclear and somatic volumes of neurons and lymphoid CSF cells, study of dendritic arborizations with the Golgi method.
